2020 Event Cancelled

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and the uncertainty of holding large scale international athletic events across the globe, a reluctant decision was made to cancel the running of the Bali International Triathlon in 2020 and 2021. 

With Bali preparing to lift quarantine requirements for fully-vaccinated international visitors in March 2022 and plans to resume the visa-on-arrival facility, the organizers of The Bali International Triathlon are seeking to secure a title sponsorship and announce the next event either in late 2022 or 2023.

We look forward to welcoming another sell-out crowd of participants to the 13^th running of The Bali International Triathlon from the event’s base on Sanur Beach.

In the meantime, we ask everyone to stay safe in these challenging times.

Latest Update on Mount Agung and Herbalife Bali International Triathlon 2017

As reported in the international and Indonesia media, Bali’s Mt. Agung is currently at the highest level of volcanic alert (Level IV-Awas) and areas within 12 kilometers of the mountain have been evacuated as a safety precaution.
